GIS/GPS Technology Curriculum
Beloit Campus
The GIS/GPS Technology Program provides training in global positioning systems, graphical information systems, surveying, AutoCAD. Students will design and construct a fully integrated GIS database, as well as be proficient in applying survey data to the database.
Program Objectives
- Demonstrate an understanding of GPS technology.
- Demonstrate proficiency with ESRI GIS software applications.
- Demonstrate proficiency with AutoCAD and Survey CAD.
- Demonstrate proficiency in assisting with GIS software installations and upgrades.
- Demonstrate an understanding of computer network concepts.
- Show knowledge of database management.
