About our Program

 

NCK Technical College, Beloit, Kansas, call CDL to obtain a course schedule, or click on “CDL Class Schedule”. Course includes: classroom sessions, pre-trip preparation, State of the Art Simulation, and driving practice for exam preparation. All drive sessions will be scheduled individually, after student has obtained an “Instructional Permit” from the State of Kansas.

 

The classes will be held on the Beloit campus, in the east building, 2nd row (north entrance). Tuition and fees $725.00 (tractor, trailer and fuel provided). Student has option to enroll in daytime OR evening classes, when available.

Courses on the Beloit Campus for Commercial Drivers License are available on a rotating basis; check the schedule for future dates!! Pre-enrollment, application, and payment of tuition and fees are due before beginning class. The next class available at the Beloit Campus will be Monday, March 29th and Tuesday, March 30th. Classes will begin promptly at 8:00am each day. The two day class prepares students for “Instructional Permit” testing at a State of Kansas DMV. Course includes classroom lecture, video and practice examinations. Simulation, pre-trip, basic skills, and drive examination preparation is included in the tuition and will be scheduled on an individual basis; after successfully receiving an Instructional Permit from the State of Kansas. The class will be held on the Beloit campus, Highway 24, in the East building, row two, North entrance marked CDL. Tuition and fees are $725.00 (Includes tractor, trailer, fuel, and drive test). Sessions will start each day at 8:00 am on Monday, March 29th and Tuesday, March 30th, 2010.

Truck is provided -
Pre-Enrollment is now required

 

Course is designed to enable student to successfully pass the written exam for obtaining a CDL. Pre-enrollment required. Truck and fuel provided.

• Students must be 18 years of age AND have a valid Kansas Drivers License.
• Students from Out-of-State, contact us about your options.
• Students will enroll and pay ALL tuition and lab fees prior to first session of class.
• Interested students are encouraged to contact the instructor for class schedule or changes in the schedule.
• Written test will be administered at DMV office. Driving test will be administered on campus by the Kansas DMV.

(Instructor will work with each student to schedule their individual driving times).

Driver Improvement Class Offered

 

AAA – DIP (Driver Improvement Program)

Managing Visibility, Time, and Space has proven effective in reducing traffic fatalities and collisions as employed worldwide by the United States Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps. Many organizations such as insurance underwriters, police, public utilities, and delivery fleets require completion of the course by their drivers.

This program can enhance driver safety, convenience, and comfort using the most up to date research in the field. It provides practical guidance for preventing traffic collisions through instruction on visual scanning techniques, critical driving information, and procedures for handling vehicular and traffic emergencies.
