One Year Certificate

Program Description

The Business Management (BMGT) program is designed to prepare students for employment in a variety of management and entrepreneurial careers. The basics of marketing and management are studied both in the classroom and through an internship which includes employment within the field of study.

Students will have opportunities to see managers and entrepreneurs function in the business setting by visiting various businesses throughout the state of Kansas. Students will observe displays, advertisements, marketing and management styles of different business owners. This program is only available on the Hays campus.

• Financial and Computerized Accounting
• Business Law

 

 

 

*The General Business Program provides the necessary business technology and interpersonal skills to succeed in the job market. Students receive training in the latest business software applications, marketing, advertising, merchandising, and computerized and financial accounting. Options available to the students include an Associate of Applied Science Degree, or Business Technology and Business Management certificates.
