Curriculum

Hays Campus

The Business Management Program provides training in marketing, advertising, merchandising, accounting and management/entrepreneurship. Students will develop the necessary business skills to be successful in a variety of career opportunities such as sales, promotion, retail, management and other related fields. Students will experience practical training through business internships. Students who successfully complete the program of study will receive a Business Management Certificate.

Program Objectives:

  • Possess the knowledge to perform entry-level employment in the business field.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of personal and work characteristics that contribute to an effective job performance.
  • Use appropriate mathematical data and reasoning skills.
  • Apply effective communication skills appropriate to the business profession.
  • Demonstrate pertinent human relation skills in relation to the business industry.
