Computer Usage / Internet Access Policy

 

• NCKTC provides wireless Internet access in every building for both our students and guests to use.  This is a courtesy service for our on campus students and guests to use while at NCKTC.

• The NCKTC IT Dept. has made arrangements with CDW-G to offer enrolled NCKTC students, faculty and staff discounted pricing on computers, software and computer related items available at the college's discounted pricing level.  These discounts from CDW-G can be significant, so please visit the special Internet web store created by CDW-G for current NCKTC students, faculty and staff at (http://www.cdwg.com/ncktc).   For up to date pricing or if you do not see an item displayed at the web store that you are looking for, please feel free to call the college's CDW-G account manager.  The toll-free number to call is located at the lower left corner of the CDW-G / NCKTC web store.
  
  
• Students living in the dorms, wired Internet access is provided in each of the apartments living rooms. If you need any CAT5 cables they may be purchased at the bookstore inside the Student Union.
  
  
• The use of any information systems, computers or network resources at the college requires the acceptance of NCKTC's Information Systems Use Policy prior to use.
