This course will examine activities in a person-centered nursing home environment. It will focus on the importance of meaningful, individualized activity for residents as well as the roles of all staff members in providing activity. The course will teach participants how to learn about residents, plan, facilitate and evaluate activities. Regulations related to activity and the survey process will be explored.
